Tonight, the Sharks slept through two periods while the Coyotes made a run for the playoffs. In the third period, they remembered that they needed to play and started making up ground. Unfortunately, there were a few bad calls, bounces, etc. It was a little rough. A little sliver of light: Thornton scored his 1000th point, which was cool.
Great third period, though. Saturday night (tomorrow), they’ll need to get their game back on track.
David was over here for this game, and, even though I’d just complained a little to Gary Bettman the day before, I was able to watch this game, even though it was out of market for Utah. Maybe because the game was sold out in Phoenix. ?
